TSI 'Handtorque' multipliers employ multiple stages of epicyclic gearing to give a wide range of torque outputs and ratios to suit most applications.

Ratios quoted are always the torque multiplication ratio, not the velocity ratio as given for some competitor's products. For example, the velocity ratio may be 29.8:1 to give a torque multiplication of 25:1 +/- 4%.

• True torque multiplication guaranteed better than +/-4%

• Torque outputs up to 35,000 ft.lbs.

• High ratios allow the use of a small torque wrench, multipliers can be used where access is limited.

• All models over 25:1 are available with an Anti Wind-Up ratchet (AWUR).

• AWUR contains the 'wind up' developed in all high ratio multipliers allowing for easy and safe operation.

• AWUR locks the multiplier onto the bolt once torque is applied. Handtorques can then be used upside down and will support their own weight.

Small Diameter Series

Handtorque models HT15, 30 and 60 have all the features of the standard series, but have a higher torque output for a given gearbox diameter.

• Reduced diameter allows better access, particularly on pipe flanges.

• Reaction taken from high strength spline.

• Reaction plate can slide onto spline to allow for sockets for various lengths.

• Anti Wind-Up Ratchet available on all models, allowing safer and more practical operation.
